As the project leader It is my pleasure to announce the opening of our project website. Our Hercule III project is

CRIMINAL LAW PROTECTION OF THE FINANCIAL INTERESTS OF THE EU – FOCUSING ON MONEY LAUNDERING, TAX FRAUD, CORRUPTION AND ON CRIMINAL COMPLIANCE IN THE NATIONAL LEGAL SYSTEMS WITH REFERENCE TO CYBERCRIME

This grant was given by the EU to the University of Miskolc, Faculty of Law. One of the main  participants of the consortium is the Association of Hungarian Lawyers for the European Criminal Law. The project members are coming from Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy and Romania. All the participants are experts of the project topics.

Our aim is to collect and disseminate materials for practitioners which can help them in coping with crimes prejudice or contribute to prejudice the financial interests of the EU. In order to reach these goals we organize workshops, conferences and publish the contributions, lectures of these events in order to promote deeper understanding the characteristics of these crimes and the forming out best practices for practitioners. I hope that this website will properly serve to fulfil these goals.
